Days So Fast... :(
huhhhhh.... pabilis ng pabilis ang mga araw... i will go soon na rin :( i hope my new life would be easy for me cause i know its really hard to adjust specially when you feel like your on the wrong place at the wrong time. If I could have powers, i would love to be a seeker and a time traveler(past and future). Seeker because I always lost things, i want to have the power that I can visualize where I just left it.. and time traveler to fix my mistakes and do things right the way it should be and never let go of the special moments that just happened back with the people I love being with. I hope this wouldn't be the end. I hope God has a good plan for my life and a good reason for letting me go to Germany. I hope he plans a better and happier future for me. The way I thought it would be. :( .... I just want a really really really clear future.A safe and sound one. A happy one. A future that I wont regret my pasts...well, as long as were alive, problems wont go behind :) ... that's life :) life is life :) ... so if you, readers, know you are in a serious life(not literary serious but at least you would have a new problem after the other), take it easy.. You know you dont want to have pimples XD just do the best you can to flow with it, understand it, take a chance and resolve it. Thats it. We dont need to cry. What we do, we stand up for ourselves and just enjoy life :) Chances wont come out that easy, but at least you have it. Be happy. Be strong. Be who you really are . . . and when im going to Germany next month, Im gonna remind myself that Im just me and not pretending to be. :) huhhh.... it is better here than in a diary XD

Assignment #5
3 Local Entrepreneurs...
1. Marvin Agustin

Marvin Agustin is one of the many celebrities who didn’t let their success in show business stop them from pursuing their other passions; in his case, the food business.
“I’ve always wanted to put up a restaurant,” the latest advocate of the Bear Brand Laki Sa Gatas campaign reveals. “And I knew that with the kind of discipline that my mother taught us, I could someday make that dream come true.”
Marvin recalls it was during his stint as a restaurant server that he started dreaming of putting up a restaurant. Show business beckoned though, and he became one of the hottest matinee idols in the industry and paired off with some of the country’s biggest female celebrities.
Being the determined person that he is, he never let his success in the limelight stop him from fulfilling his dream of becoming a restaurateur.
“I enrolled at the International School for Culinary arts and Hotel Management to learn more about the business,” Marvin says.
His first venture into the food business started with the hugely successful Ricecapades, a chain of food stalls that serve rice topping variations. He then put up Oyster Boy Restaurant, which likewise gained a following among food lovers and now has branches across the metro.
“But my baby is Sumo Sam,” Marvin says, referring to the Japanese-American Restaurant which, like his first two ventures, has expanded to several branches.
These restaurants were soon followed by more —John and Yoko at Greenbelt 5, CafĂ© Ten Titas in Gateway Mall, Marciano’s in Greenbelt 3, and Samurai Chef in Trinoma. Soon, he will also open Harajuku, a Euro-Japanese restaurant to be located at Eastwood in Libis.
With his success in show business and the Restaurant Industry, Marvin is clearly a good example of people who don’t let their success get into their heads. Instead, they use them as stepping stones to pursue their true passions in life.
2. Manny Pacquiao
He's had deals with Nike, McDonald's Alaxan, Xtreme Magic Sing, PLDT, and San Miguel Beer. The New York Times last year said Pacquiao earns "about $20 million a year, including endorsements. He owns a rooster farm, a boxing promotions company and a basketball team MP Warriors, which plays in the country's top league."

2. Manny Pacquiao

Pacquiao is a Filipino boxer, and most likely the most famous man in the Philippines. He's set to fight Oscar De La Hoya on Dec. 6 in a WBC welterweight match.
If you thought some American athletes had lots of business endorsements (think Tiger Woods, Lebron James, and remember Michael Jordan back in his heyday?), then take a look at Pacquiao.
He has done commercials for beer, liquor, and fast food.
And by the way, his boxing contract reportedly guarantees him at least $2 million for each fight. Thinking of doing business in the Philippines? It would behoove you to talk to Pacquiao's management team. He's also appeared in video games, movies - and he's recorded albums.3. Chris Aquino
Being successful in her TV and movie career, Aquino ventured into several businesses. She owns Lena Restaurant and Sencillo, a Mexican restaurant in partnership with several celebrities, and Roberto Antonio, an upscale flower shop in partnership with Boy Abunda. She established a boutique ad agency in partnership with Boy Abunda but also including Nonon del Carmen and Agnes Maranan, and have decided to call it MAD (an acronym for their surnames, Maranan Abunda Aquino del Carmen). She and Abunda with other partners own Sierra Madre Water, which is promoted as a miracle water for life.

Assignment #4
For Students...
A.)
1.) Vigilance for Opportunities
Whenever the teacher gives you an opportunity to report, have a special project or even recite, dont even hesitate and just take the offer because it may give you extra points or better, a higher grade (direct to the card! weh? XD)... but make sure, you can handle the things that you will overtake.
2.) Commitment to Work Contract
If you have this project and any other school work, and the teacher says it will be due the next day or any day the teacher wants, you have to make sure to give it on time or the teacher might not accept it if its late.
3.) Persistence
If you have a school group work (for instance, a debate), and you think your side is slowly going down, you dont have to be scared and let your team down, be strong,. think of other possibilities that you can add up to your facts and information... at least, whether you win or lose, its worth the try :)
4.) Willingness to take risks
As a student from RSHS III, it is clearly understood that study is a priority...having a lot of school works, projects, home works, quizzes, group works, research papers, investigatory project and other stuff, you just have to remember that this is only a test. Its ALL worth it. But dont frustrate yourself much, always think positive and no worries, good thing somebody invented google. (whoever you are, IDOL KITA !!!)
5.) Demand for quality and Efficiency
As I said, were still students. We dont have jobs yet. So in help for our parents, we should minimize things that we would ask them to buy for us...be creative and resourceful to get the things that you need. In that, we can also help mother earth. Remember, REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE :)
6.) Goal Setter
Having a goal for yourself (and for your family too) makes you a one big heck of a very good student :D
It means that you know that you have a future cause you set for it and do everything to get it. Just like, money saving. If you want to have an Ipad, Xbox, Wii or any other, you make sure to do EVERYTHING just for the gadget or thing :D
7.) Information Seeking
I believe that being updated, makes an individual independent. Because you know what is happening and truly helps for your filipino, english and social studies subject if the teacher asks you about the daily news and you have one (YEY YOU!) then, do number 1 (vigilance for opportunities), go raise your hand cause its your time to shine B)
8.) Systematic Planning and Monitoring
Having a plan is very very helpful. In here, TIME MANAGEMENT comes in. it is very important for most students for them to be on time and not be on CRAMMING MODE! ...
9.) Persuation and Networking
For school projects, make your project a very special one. Just think about this, as exchange of your grade(a very high one.. possibly), your project should be a high one too :)) make it presentable, colorful and specially sensible because a teacher does not only look at its front page cover, it also means inside it. (Kahit kadulu-duluhan pa ng project ninyo, everything counts inside.)
10.) Self Confidence
This, a "most of the students struggle". This is very very very very important also for most teens. Everything changes when it comes in High School. Everything is like the first day of school. Still shy to talk. But dont worry, your true color will really come out when it comes to the middle days of the school year until you realize, you already have a lot of best friends :))
REMEMBER: GRACE UNDER PRESSURE, MIND OVER MATTER :))
same as for entrepreneurs, you can also apply this methods to be successful not only in work but in life also :))
